    Programs located at military installations throughout the world that handle inquiries from military personnel, retirees, reservists and their family members, do an assessment of their needs and refer them to sources of help available at the installation or in the local community. The centers may provide relocation assistance, transition assistance, family life programs (e.g., parenting, stress management), individual and family counseling, employment assistance, and financial management services as well as emergency assistance.

    Volunteer Services - ACS / Military OneSourceThe Army Community Service (ACS) Volunteer program is a program that consists of Army spouses and family members that volunteer within various ACS areas. These areas include: Finance (Consumer Advocates), Victim Advocacy, Army Family Team Building (AFTB), Army Family Action Plan (AFAP), Family Advocacy - Baby Bundles, Nurturing, New Parent Support Program (NPSP) and many, many more. Free childcare services are provided to any ACS volunteer (please contact the ACS Volunteer Coordinator for eligibility requirements), as well as 10 free hours of childcare in order for volunteers to make use of the Mountain Post Wellness Center. Periodic software training seminars (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer etc.) are also provided when available. Volunteering within ACS provide spouses with the opportunity to develop a vast array of job skills, networking, self-discovery and is a fantastic venue for meeting people within the community, as well as developing new friendships.
