Restorative Justice Program - District Attorney's Office, 10th Judicial DistrictDiverts first-time juvenile offenders from the traditional court process and allows participants the opportunity to take responsibility for their actions through a discussion with parents, victims, and community volunteers. Through this process, the group is able to explore the harm that was caused as a result of the juvenile's poor choice. All participants develop creative solutions to the crime. Senior Nutrition Program / Area Agency on Aging (Weld)The Senior Nutrition Program provides nutritious and delicious noon-time meals for seniors served at twenty-two sites throughout Weld County. Social and educational opportunities are also available before and after meals. Participants are provided with an opportunity to voluntarily contribute whatever they can afford to help offset the cost of the meal. Our suggested minimum donation is posted at each nutrition site. Time-Exchange Program - Time Bank of the RockiesTime Bank of the Rockies organizes shared time for those on the Western Slope to facilitate non-money-based exchange of resources and services. Time individuals spend helping others creates a time credit that can be used to get help or purchase goods available from other members. Time can be banked in whole hours or quarter hours. After becoming a member, individuals will be given access to the Time Bank website where they can post skills and talents they are willing to share as well as those they'd like to receive.
