The groups meet in-person, by telephone or via the Internet; and allow participants to share their experience, strengths and hopes to solve the problems they have in common and to address the quality of life issues that affect them all.

Often friends and family members become aware of changes in the circumstances or behavior of an older person and are not sure what to do.     Colorado Springs Senior CenterThe Colorado Spring Service Center serves as a social / active centralized location for senior citizens, as well as being a a good resource for services. Classes and Activities offered in Art, Computer, Exercise, Dance, Health and LifeLong Learning. There are a variety of special interest groups and clubs ranging from PCs to book clubs to investing. Golden Circle Nutrition Program Monday - Friday 11:30 - 12:15 Anyone 60 years or older is eligible to participate; a $2.25 donation for the meal is suggested and .25 cents for coffee and tea. Guests are welcome for $6.50 per person. Meal cards are available for purchase at all meal sites. Any eligible diner may receive a card with 12 meals for a donation of $22 or a card with 6 meals for a donation of $11. Lunch is available until 12:15 pm or until all the food has been served. Fee is paid to the instructor; $15.00 for AARP members and $20.00 for non-members. Real Estate Assistance Third Wednesday each month; 9:30-10:30 am. Free, no obligation answers to questions on buying and/or selling. Provided by Adrian Reed, Relocation Specialist, ReMax Properties – 332-5707 Senior Insurance Assistance Third Wednesday of each month: 9 am-Noon Consultations to assist with medical billings, insurance claims, Medicare, and Medicaid. Personal Services Legal Counseling First and Third Wednesday of each month; 15-minute appointments - 2:15--4:15 pm This service includes legal advice, counseling, negotiation, advocacy and litigation. You will be required to complete an intake form that includes providing financial information. Pick up the intake form early at the front desk. Provided by Colorado Legal Services. Grandparents/Relatives Raising Grandchildren Most Fridays, 9-11 am Grandparent Advocate services are provided by El Paso County Department of Human Services for grandparents and relatives currently raising their grandchildren or other related children from birth to 18 years. Please call (719)444-5226) for more information or to make a specific appointment time Senior Mobile Dental Once a month screenings, consultations and dental cleanings will be performed by a licensed dental hygienist.
