|Employment - Pikes Peak Workforce Center||"The Pikes Peak Workforce Center (PPWFC) is part of a nationwide network of workforce centers, serving El Paso and Teller Counties. PPWFC serves three major customer types: employers, adults and youth. PPWFC adult programs are aimed at improving the employability of job seekers. The Workforce Investment Act (WIA) was created to help adults who lack marketable job skills gain the necessary skills to find and keep employment. If eligible, adults may enter a training program. All registered adults, may use the PPWFC Resource Room which offers free, self-service tools and information helpful in career planning and job searching. Other free services for all job seekers include workshops on a wide variety of job search topics.
