    Family Programs - El Paso County Public HealthFamily programs through El Paso County Public Health include the following: Women, Infants, and Children (WIC): provide qualifying women and children with supplemental food, education on nutrition, and referrals to community programs. Call to make an appointment. WIC is open Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. & 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. There is a Southeast office available outside of the main office, and it is located at 97 Widefield Blvd, Widefield, CO 80911. Child Health Programs: Several programs for those in need. Nurse Family Partnership provides home nursing care for low income first time parents to aid them in the first 2 years of the child's life. The Health Care for Special Needs Children provides special assistance for the first 21 years of those born with special needs, and the Healthy Children and families program provides nurse home visits for special needs families. Maternal Child Health is working to prevent early childhood obesity. Family Planning Clinic: Provides pregnancy testing and counseling, birth control, Std education and treatment, women exams (pap, breast and pelvic, etc), male reproductive health exams, and more. Accept Medicaid and have a sliding fee scale. Offer same day, next day and walk in appointments. Open Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Travelers Health: Provide immunizations to protect from diseases as you travel internationally. Adult and Child Immunizations: Offer vaccine services for children and adults. Medicaid, CHP+, and Tricare accepted. Call for an appointment, or the walk in clinic is on Tuesdays 8:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m. Will need a current immunization record. Also offer Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and testing by appointment, or the walk in clinic is Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m & 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. TB tests are $20.00.
