|Breastfeeding Support Group - La Leche League International||La Leche League is for all women seeking information about support in breastfeeding. Meetings cover various topics, such as advantages of breast feeding, the family and the breast fed baby, art of breast feeding and overcoming difficulties, and nutrition and weaning. Leaders are trained, certified and experienced women who have nursed and volunteer their time and talent.

|Newborn or Postpartum Visits - Rio Grande County||Newborn / Postpartum Visits: The county Public Health dept receives requests for home visits from the hospital. The county PH then contacts parents to arrange a home visit. Parents should complete the request form at the hospital.
Parents can also call for a visit and if they have questions.
