    Programs that provide for the formal supervision of individuals who have been convicted of a crime, usually a lesser offense, and given a suspended sentence which releases them into the community under specific conditions which may include a reduced term in a correctional facility, fines, restitution to the victim, community work, counseling, "good conduct" and other stipulations.

    Problem Solving Court Programs (Weld County) - 19th Judicial DistrictCoordinates services in an effort to hold participants accountable and help them develop the skills necessary to attain long term sobriety. Provides Adult Treatment Court Program which integrates substance abuse treatment, mental health treatment, intensive supervision and judicial oversight to promote public safety and individual responsibility, to reduce crime, and to improve the quality of life for participants and their families. Probation officer assigned to the Treatment Court provides close monitoring, frequent/ random drug screens, substance abuse treatment referral and coordination and accountability. Provides DUI Court Program which is a county court program that targets repeat drunk driving offenders who abuse alcohol at a high level or who are alcohol dependent. Court assesses amenability to treatment, and indicates if individual would benefit from intensive supervision and treatment.
