Also included are programs that provide transportation for youngsters with disabilities who have no other means of accessing necessary specialized services and activities.

    Mountain Metro Mobility - City of Colorado SpringsMountain Metro Mobility is an ADA paratransit service provided for individuals who, because of their disability, are unable to use Mountain Metro fixed-route bus service. Riders must have a disability that prevents them from using fixed-route bus service some or all of the time. This does not include people who have disabilities that make the use of fixed-route service difficult. Mountain Metro Mobility provides comparable service to the regular fixed-route bus in terms of shared rides, days of service, and service areas and hours. You will need to fill out and submit an application for this service. Metro Mobility provides rides for people with disabilities, who are certified as eligible for ADA Para transit Service. Offers curb-to-curb and door-to-door service. Tickets are $3.50 one-way. You can also purchase a 10-ride booklet for $35 and a 40-ride booklet for $140.     The Traveler - Garfield CountyThe Traveler provides wheelchair accessible, curb to curb, demand responsive, driver-assisted transportation to Garfield County residents, 65 or older or disabled adults (over 18) who have difficulty using public or private transportation services. Based in Glenwood Springs and Rifle, the Traveler serves qualified individuals within the following service area parameters: a five (5) mile radius off of Interstate 70 between Parachute and Glenwood Springs, and a five (5) mile radius off of Hwy 82 between Glenwood Springs and Carbondale.
