Section 8 Housing Voucher Program:
- Provides assistance for qualified persons to live in safe, affordable rental units.
- Tenants pay approximately 30% of his or her income for rent and utilities.
- Participants are required to live in the county for the first 12 months.
Single Family Owner Occupied Rehabilitation Program:
- Provides low-interest home improvement loans for repairs
- Applicants must own their home
- Loans can be used for owner-occupied housing, primary residence or supplies and/or labor
- Loans do not apply to rental housing

|Housing Authority||The FMHA offers one public housing community with 86 units dedicated to senior/disabled individuals.
There are two ways to apply:
1. Visit the FMHA to pick up an application, located

2. Request an application be mailed to you by calling

Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.
Be sure to include copies of these documents with your application: photo IDs for all adult household members, and proof of income.
