Summer food service programs are generally available to youth age 18 and younger who live in designated low-income areas; and may be federally-funded or funded by other entities.

    Summer Food Service Program - Hunger Free ColoradoThe Summer Food Service Program is a federal nutrition program designed to replace school meals during the summer throughout Colorado. Summer Food sites serve nutritionally balanced meals that meet USDA guidelines. All lunches include a serving of milk, two servings of fruits and/or vegetables, a serving of grains, and at least one serving of protein.
