|Warming Center/Day Center/Meal - Rising Up Center||Rising Up Warming Center:
The Warming Center is a place that our homeless neighbors can come to get out of the dangerous cold. One of the biggest services Rising Up is able to offer is connecting the dots to existing programs and agencies that are able to provide assistance with housing, jobs and healthcare.
SEASONAL ONLY-Warming Center/Overnight Cold Shelter:
Rising Up Day Center:
On June 1, 2016, the Rising Up Day Center opened. One of the issues that Rising Up discovered when the Warming Center closed for the season, was losing contact with our homeless neighbors, thereby losing progress that they had gained. The ability to offer assistance with setting appointments, searching for jobs and housing, and navigating the myriad of programs and services that may be available to them, is highly dependent on consistent contact with our homeless neighbors.
