    Programs that organize periodic suppers, lunches or other get-togethers that give community residents an opportunity to meet one another in a friendly and informal atmosphere while sharing a meal. Community meals are generally sponsored by churches, libraries and other local community organizations and coordinated by volunteers.

    Clothing & Household Needs/Thrift Store - Salvation Army - DeltaThe Salvation Army in Delta can provide vouchers for qualifying individuals and families for free clothing, personal and household needs. Salvation Army may be able to provide: - Backpacks - Clothing - Coats/jackets - Dishes - Utensils - Lamps/other light fixtures - Bathroom items (shampoo, deodorant, other hygiene products) - Bedding items (bed sheets, blankets, pillows) Vouchers are available once a year per household. Items that the client can qualify for are determined by the client's needs.     Community Dinners - Pine River SharesFacilitates the meeting of members of the community through dinners.     Salvation Army - MontroseThe Salvation Army in Montrose runs a thrift store for individuals to purchase items and can provide vouchers for basic needs, including but not limited to: - Clothing for home or work - Basic household items such as dishes, cookware, utensils, bathroom items - Small furniture items may be available as well for victims of disaster or domestic violence Availability on all items can vary depending on inventory. Once an applicant is approved for a voucher, they may shop through the thrift store for the items they have been designated to receive. Items the applicant is approved for will be determined during the interview process.     Senior Meals - CS Senior CenterGolden Circle Nutrition serves hot meals at the CS Senior Ctr. Anyone 60 years or older is eligible to participate A $2 donation is suggested. Guests are welcome for $6.50 per person. Lunch is available until 12:15 pm or until all the food has been served.
