Description of Service
Serves families with children from birth to 3 years old and teaches parents during home visits about the stages of childhood development and how to prepare their children for school.
Parents As Teachers (PAT) provides home educators who visit families twice a month during the school year. In addition, parents attend monthly group meetings where they learn about child development, health, nutrition, and other topics of interest to parents. Children are tested every six months to make sure they are meeting developmental milestones.
