Description of Service
The ADA Paratransit service is for person with physical, cognitive, emotional, visual or other disabilities which functionally prevent them from using the public fixed-route bus system known as Grand Valley Transit, either permanently or at certain times of the year.
Disability alone does not create eligibility. The decision is based solely on the applicant's functional ability to use GVT fixed route service.

Applications are available on GVT's website at www.gvt.mesacounty.us/paratransit or by calling 970-256-7433 and requesting one be mailed to you.
All applicant's seeking to use the Para-Transit Service must fill out an application. The Para-Transit application also requires medical verification of the applicant's functional limitations to be completed by a licensed medical professional. Information provided by a social service agency or other professional regarding the applicants ability to use the public transit may also be considered.

Routes operate Monday - Saturday 4:45 am to 8:35 pm
