General Information
Description of ServiceAccepts reports of mistreatment, exploitation, and or self-neglect of at-risk adults who, due to age or disability, are unable to protect themselves and have no one else who can protect them. Provides special services to adults who are at risk of abuse, neglect or exploitation using community-based services and resources, health care services, family and friends when appropriate, and other support systems.

Determines the need for an investigation or assessment, If needed, investigates cases involving:
- Abuse
- Neglect
- Exploitation
- Case management/monitoring
- Guardianships
- Representative payees
- Money management
- Education and advocacy
