General Information
Description of ServiceProvides program called Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) is the Federal name for the program that is known in Colorado as Colorado Works. Provides temporary financial assistance to households with children. Financial payments vary according to the size of the family and the income of the parents. Assists individuals in becoming self-sufficient and return to the work force as soon as possible. Works alongside Employment Services and other community agencies provide immediate employment, training, and other support opportunities to individuals applying for or receiving TANF benefits.
