Description of Service
NECALG is the umbrella Public Non-Profit Organization for the North Eastern Area Agency on Aging, and receives an allocation from Title III of the Older American’s Act to provide a variety of eligible services in Northeastern Colorado for citizens over the age of 60.
The purpose of the Area Agency on Aging is to promote opportunities for independent living among older persons in the area and to assist senior citizens to age with dignity and in place.
Urgent Services Provided
Assists senior citizens with the following services:
- Long-term care ombudsman
- Health screening and promotion
- Senior center programs
- Caregiver information and assistance
- Outreach, homemaker services
- Old Age Pension Dental Program
- Medicaid Part D
- Transportation for the elderly

Seniors 60 years old or older.
