ECCLPS is an early childhood system where families are valued and children are healthy and thriving that recognizes and supports the availability and accessibility of quality early childhood services by
Increasing public awareness of early childhood issues and needs that promote a public will for high quality early childhood opportunities
Promoting and sustaining a highly qualified workforce of professional development of early childhood professionals
Collaborating with the efforts of local agencies to provide services to young children and their families
Strengthen and support community based services for the overall health and wellness for young children
Urgent Services Provided
Expanding Quality Infant and Toddler:
Expanding Quality in Infant Toddler Care (EQIT) trainers to work toward its primary goal of increasing the quality and availability of responsive care for infants and toddlers throughout Colorado by:
•Strengthening the skills and knowledge base of Early Childhood professionals working with infants and toddlers
•Building capacity and promoting systemic change to foster increased quality and availability of care and services
•Supporting leadership and collaboration at the community level
•Facilitating professional development for infant toddler professionals, particularly those who are teaching or coaching infant toddler teachers
ECCLPS's educational scholarships are available for higher education classes to individuals working in the field of early childhood and who resides in Logan, Phillips, or Sedgwick Counties.
Resource and Referral:
Colorado Shines Child Care Referral at Mile High United Way offers a free child care resource and referral service.
We provide a list of referrals to licensed child care providers in the area of the family's request and consumer education about how to recognize and select quality care.

Our Colorado Shines Child Care Referral Partners:
Child Care Resource & Referrals (CCR&Rs) help families by providing referrals to child care, education about the quality and availability of care, and financial assistance information. Working within their communities, CCR&Rs identify early care and education needs, and they focus on enhancing the quality and availability of services through recruiting, training, and supporting child care providers
