Description of Service
Provides grocery shopping and delivery for seniors and people with disabilities. Each week, volunteers take grocery orders over the phone, shop at a local grocery store, and deliver the groceries to clients' homes.
Call to enroll; participants must complete a signed Client Liability Waiver form and mail, fax, or deliver the form to BCCC. The Program Manager will set up a payment method with participants, who will then receive further instructions on the ordering process.
Prescriptions cannot be picked up. For other items, please give a specific and detailed shopping list. Items come from King Soopers, which also has home goods, health products, and natural and organic items. Club Card prices will be honored, and volunteers are happy to pick up small orders of only one or two things.
