General Information
Description of ServiceHigh Country RSVP recruits, trains, and places senior volunteers (55 +) in volunteer positions that utilize their skills and abilities to serve others in the community.

Volunteers assist in the following ways:
- Participating in neighborhood watch programs
- Helping community organizations operate more efficiently
- Helping at community food banks
- Working in hospitals
- Visiting friends in nursing home facilities
- Working in local museums
- Serving meals at senior meal sites
- Dispatching the Traveler van
- Telephoning home bound neighbors to check on well being
- Preparing taxes for seniors and disabled
- Providing Medicare information
