Description of Service
Provides shelter for homeless adults November - March when overnight temperatures are at or below 20 degrees. Transportation is provided from the day shelter at 137 Homeless Connection to participating host churches in Loveland.
Cities of Loveland, Berthoud
Walk in to check-in between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. at 137 Homeless Connection building. Call to listen to a recorded message noting whether the shelter is open or not before or after office hours.
Call non-emergency dispatch after 6 p.m. in an emergency to access the shelter.
Clients are required to do 8 hours of community service per week of shelter needed. New to the area, non-existing clients will be given a service waiver for the rest of the week.
Clients are also required to take a breathalyzer test. Results do not determine eligibility, but residents must comply with the rules of 137 Homeless Connection.
English, Spanish, Language Line Available
Homeless single adults and couples accepted, but will sleep separately.
