Provides assistance to women for an immediate, one-time financial need that cannot be covered through any other source.
Funds are distributed to the holder of the bill, not to the applicant directly. In return for assistance, recipients are asked to perform an act of kindness.
Urgent Services Provided
Types of assistance available include, but are not limited to:
- Medical needs (disease and injury)
- Transportation needs (bus passes, car repair)
- Childcare expenses
- Eye examinations and eye wear
- Housing (rental deposit)
Telephone 2-1-1 by calling, 211 or (970) 353-8808 for intake and application submission to agency.
Does not provide assistance for rent through 2-1-1, legal fees, bail money, credit card debt, hospital bills or other needs that can be covered by other agencies.
All requests are screened and financial assistance is usually provided within 48 hours of the request. Referrals from United Way of Weld County 211 require an email to Women 2 Women. Responses will take at least 24 hours due to the approval process.
Must be female, proof of incoming financial stability through work or some sort of service assistance. Must be referred by a 501 c 3 agency, church, school, or donor to W2W. Client must have held residency in Weld County for 6 month or more. Funds are distributed to the holder of the bill, never to the applicant. An application form is provided to referral source. Exclusions include all matter that can be funded elsewhere. No legal fee's, bail money, credit card debt, and hospital bills will be allowed. Fund is provided on a one time basis. Email contact only.
