General Information
Description of ServiceCourt Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) are volunteers who work with guardian ad litem attorneys in representing an abused/neglected child's best interests to the court. Advocates interview persons involved with the case, see the children regularly, and work to get the children into a safe, permanent environment as quickly as possible. A 36-hour mandatory training is required. Training is offered multiple times a year.
