Description of Service
Offers child support services to custodial parents, non-custodial parents, and legal guardians. Those receiving public assistance (cash benefits from the county) are automatically referred and a case is open for collection of state debt. Services are available regardless of income or financial status and include:
- Locating non-custodial parents
- Establishing paternity, support orders, and medical support
- Modifying and enforcing support orders and medical support
Request an application by phone, online, or in person. Mail or drop off completed application. Once an application has been accepted notification will be sent by mail. The application process takes approximately four-six weeks.
Individuals will need to bring:
- Birth Certificates
- Social Security Cards
- Copies of orders
