Description of Service
The Nurse Family Partnership (NFP) and Healthy Start at Home programs offer free prenatal and early childhood home visitations for mothers who meet financial guidelines.
- The NFP Program is for first time moms where a Community Health Nurse visits as early in pregnancy as possible and continues through the first two years of the child's life.
- Healthy Start at Home offers nurse home visits to women during pregnancy up until 1 year after the baby is born
Call or visit the website for more information. A nurse will call back to set up a home visit once person is admitted into the program.
Information and resources may include maternal health, infant health, labor and delivery, infant feeding and caring, how to understand an infant's different cries and body language, infant development physically, socially, emotionally and mentally.
