Addresses the emergency or immediate repair needs of very low income Denver homeowners, including plumbing, heating, roofing, insulation, elimination of lead-based paint hazards, and electrical problems. The program provides grants and deferred loans up to $6,000 at 0% interest.

Households will be asked to provide the following:
- Proof of income
- Photo ID
- Proof of current mortgage statement
- Other documents as needed
Grants offered if less than $1000 in repairs. Loans offered if over this amount.
Clients must be a Denver resident, own and occupy their home and have a household income at or below 50% of the HUD Area Median Income. In order to qualify for the free grant program to eliminate lead-based paint hazards in the home, the home must be built before 1978 and there must be a child under the age of 6 or an expectant mother in the home.
