General Information
Description of ServiceProvides 24-hour treatment and individual, group, and family therapy to children in crisis. Reasons for admission include attempted suicide, violent outbursts, serious crime, and severe mental and emotional disorders. After an evaluation, a comprehensive treatment plan is developed to address the needs and strengths of the child and the family and a goal is to help identify the causes of their emotional distress and behavior problems, and then to help the child and family develop the skills and resources they need to be successfully reunited.
