Description of Service
Fresh, hot, nutritious meals are delivered to clients' homes by volunteers. There is no time limit and service is available on a short-term basis or over a prolonged period of time. Volunteers will deliver during snowstorms.
City and County of Broomfield
Call to receive an application; an application for service needs to be completed prior to receiving meals. An in-home assessment with a Senior Services staff member will occur within two weeks of starting the Meals on Wheels service.
Additional in-home assessments may be conducted at the discretion of the Senior Services Staff.
If a client needs to change or cancel their service, please provide 24-hour notice.
Seniors at least 60 years of age at any income level, who are homebound or live alone and are unable to prepare meals for themselves; individuals under the age of 60 may qualify with a medical referral.

Clients are billed on a monthly basis; financial assistance is available in some cases.
