Description of ServiceIn each judicial district, a three-member board appointed by the District Attorney, reviews applications and awards dollars for compensable expenses incurred as a result of a crime. Some examples of costs covered by this fund are medical expenses, counseling costs, outpatient care, and burial expenses.
