General Information
Description of ServiceThe Weld County AAA also houses the Long-Term Care Single Entry Point, Aging and Disability Resources for Colorado (ADRC) Program and Adult Protective Services for those ages 18 and older.
-AAAs were established under the Older Americans Act (OAA) in 1973 to respond to the needs of Americans 60 and over in every local community.
-AAAs make it possible for older adults to remain in their homes and communities as long as possible.
-AAAs are part of a national network of agencies that provide services to any person age 60 or older without regard to income, sex or ethnicity.

Intake ProcedureThe Weld County Area Agency on Aging (AAA), located in the Department of Human Services, receives funding from the Federal Older Americans Act and the Older Coloradoans Fund to provide services to Weld County residents who are 60 and older.
Intake RequirementsClients may need to provide the following: - W9 Form - Receipts - Valid ID
Helpful TipsThere is a process for reimbursement. Clients will not be reimbursed for services that are completed prior to approval.
