Description of Service
SOS is a volunteer based transportation program for seniors age 60+ who are unable to drive and do not have any other means of transportation. Recipients must be able to get themselves in and out of a car with only elbow assistance.
Rides are limited to doctor appointments, physical therapy, dental appointments, dialysis, grocery, and pharmacy. Due to limited volunteer drivers rides are limited to 1 a week with a weeks advance notice after enrolling in the program.
Call for application. Once accepted into the program client must call a week in advance to request a ride.
Must fill out an application to receive services.
Client transportation request must be a week in advance of needed ride
Must be 60+ and no longer drive. Also must be able to get self in and out of vehicle.
Hours of Operation
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
closed from noon to 1 pm for lunch, closed on all major holidays
