Description of Service
Supporting Our Seniors is a volunteer transportation program for seniors 60+ who are unable to drive and do not have any other means of transportation. Rides are limited to doctor appointments, physical therapy, dental appointments, dialysis, grocery, and pharmacy. Due to limited volunteer drivers rides are limited to 1 a week with a week’s advance notice after enrolling in the program.
Call for application. Once accepted into the program client must call a week in advance to request a ride.
Must fill out an application to receive services.
- Age 60and up, no longer able to drive. - Recipients must be able to get themselves in and out of a car with only elbow assistance.
