Description of Service
Offers housing rehabilitation and weatherization assistance in the form of low or no interest loans for low and moderate income homeowners to bring their single-family home up to city code.
Loans are available to provide repairs for health and safety problems for eligible home owners (excludes individuals with mobile homes) in Weld County. The interest rate varies from zero to three percent depending on income levels. The loan term is based on what homeowners can afford to pay each month. Some of the types of repairs that can be done include:
- Leaking Roofs
- Electrical Systems
- Heating Systems
- Structural Problems/Roofing

An application must be completed and the following documentation is required:
- Proof of Income
- Proof of residency (i.e., Photo ID)
- Proof of ownership
- Proof of insurance
For zero-interest loans, households must earn less than 80% of the area medium income. Low-interest loans are also available for households earning more than 80% of the area medium income.
