General Information
Description of ServiceResource Center for Pregnancy & Personal Health is a medical clinic providing confidential support for individuals making critical decisions regarding pregnancy and sexual health.
Urgent Services ProvidedFree and confidential services including:
- pregnancy tests and limited ultra sounds (less than 14 weeks) and doppler heart monitor readings for pregnant women
- STD (Chlamydia, Gonorrhea) testing and treatment
- pregnancy options for males and females
- sexual health evaluations for males and females
- prenatal parenting classes and fatherhood classes
- post abortion support for women and referrals for men
- abstinence support
- community/church referrals
- Bible study
After a client has had a positive pregnancy test, she may attend Earn While You Learn Parenting Classes. Classes teach parenting skills through classroom discussion, videos, homework, etc. For each class attended, the client receives a certificate for the Resource Center's store, to purchase diapers, new maternity clothes, newborn items and some furniture. The baby's father or another close family member are encouraged to attend and these individuals will also receive a certificate for each class.

Intake ProcedureCall or walk in for assistance. No appointment needed for a pregnancy test, but helpful to reserve a space.
Helpful TipsPregnancy test appointments will last anywhere between ½ hour and an hour.

STD/STI: What to expect: You will have 2 appointments for your screening.
First Visit – You will meet with a licensed medical professional who will take your sexual history information, discuss your STD/STI risk, explain procedures and answer any questions or concerns you might have. This is when you will provide a urine sample. We send your sample to a lab for testing.
Second Visit – A week later, you will return to our office for your results. You will meet with a licensed medical professional to go over all your test results and answer any questions you might have. If you have a positive test result, treatment and/or a referrals will be given at this time.
