Provides limited financial assistance for light and gas bills through Xcel energy only. Funds are available when the budget allows. Will be required to attend a financial literacy class. No guarantee that utility assistance will be provided.
Email or call the Utility Line Tuesdays at 4 p.m. and leave a message with the following:
- Phone number
- Xcel Energy Utility account number
Calls will be returned in the order received to schedule an appointment. If a voicemail is not returned, call again the following week.
Clients must provide the following documentation:
- Past Due Utility Bill
- Photo ID
- Proof of applying for LEAP during LEAP season (November 1 - April 30)

Must have a past due utility bill that is not able to be paid off in full.
