Description of ServiceOffers a Fresh Foods Market for hungry families and individuals located in the Denver Metro Area. Metro Caring provides a week’s supply of food and toiletries when available. Shoppers must be able to pick up food.

Upon availability, The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) will be distributed to those who meet TEFAP’s public assistance or income requirements.

Intake ProcedureCall ahead of time to schedule an appointment.
Intake RequirementsClients will need to provide the following for their first visit:
- Photo ID
- Current proof of address (piece of mail or bill)
- Birth dates and a form of ID for all household members

On subsequent visits, client need only show their ID and current proof of address.
Helpful TipsOn the first visit the client’s data will be entered into the database.
