General Information
Description of ServiceHelps low-income individuals and families with the costs of purchasing food. This program is a supplement to a household's nutritional needs for the month.

Beginning October 1st, 2018, dial 2-1-1 to start a SNAP application over the telephone.

Intake RequirementsApplicants will need to provide the following documentation:
- Photo ID
- Social Security number
- Proof of income
- Proof of address
- Proof of all cash or non-cash assets
- Immigration status
- Child support payments
- Out-of-pocket medical expenses
- Child care expenses

Colorado PEAK allows clients to access benefit information and apply online - anytime and anywhere. PEAK is an online service for Coloradans to screen and apply for medical, food, cash, and child care assistance programs. To apply online go to https://coloradopeak.secure.force.com/

Boulder County residents can also create an account at www.bouldercountyconnect.org to view information about their benefits, check the status of their case, upload documents electronically, live chat with a representative, and complete other tasks relating to their benefits.

The MyCOBenefits app is available to individuals who receive SNAP, Colorado Works, and Adult Financial benefits and is available in both the Apple and Android app stores. The app allows users to access their benefit information, report changes, check EBT card balances and more.

- Are unemployed or work part-time
- Receive TANF/Colorado Works or other public assistance
- Are elderly or disabled and live on a small income
