General Information
Description of ServiceProvides a job training program that can last between 3 and 9 months, based on the needs and skills of the individual. This includes paid training in one or more of the following production areas including:
- Sewing
- Woodworking
- Laser etching/cutting
- General assembly
- Packaging and fulfillment services

All skills taught have been selected to ensure that they are within areas of high demand in the current job market and are easily transferable to other positions. In addition to hard job skills, the program also provides the following services:
- Case Management
- Support Counseling
- Resource connection
- Goal creation
- Help with soft skills (advocacy, conflict resolution, interview skills, and more)

Intake RequirementsApplicants should bring the following documents to onboarding:
- Two forms of government issued ID (Driver's license, State ID or passport)
- Original birth certificate or original social security card
Helpful Tips- Mile High Workshop is located inside Bud's Warehouse
- Mile High WorkShop has hiring events every third Wednesday of the month from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. It is recommended that attendees bring a resume and dress in neat, rip-free clothing
- After filling out the application, having an interview and receiving an offer or employment, participants will have an intake on either the 1st day or 1st week on the job
- Participants will be required, if selected, to submit to random monthly UA testing
- Once hired, participants qualify for 50% reimbursement for the purchase of a monthly RTD pass
 
Client Information
EligibilityTo be considered for the program, applicants must be experiencing one of the following barriers to employment:
- Homelessness
- Reentry
- Addiction recovery

Applicants with an addiction history must be currently in recovery at the time of application in order to be considered for hire.
