WIC is a USDA funded health and nutrition program for Women, Infants, and Children under the age of 5 years. Weld County WIC staff consists of Registered Dietitians, Nutrition Educators, and Breast Feeding Peer Counselors who together seek to provide credible nutrition education & assessment, breastfeeding support, referrals , resources, and healthful foods for our clients. Infants, Children under the age of 5, Pregnant and Postpartum Women who live in Weld County limits and are within WIC’s financial guidelines.
In order to be financially eligible for WIC in Colorado, a participant’s combined family gross income cannot exceed 185% of the federal poverty standards. To determine if your family is eligible, feel free to give us a call!
