Description of Service
Provides the following classes to individuals ages 16 and older:
- English as a Second Language (ESL)
- GED (English and Spanish available)
- Financial Empowerment
- Workforce Development
- Citizenship Classes
- Early Childhood Education
- Parent to Paraprofessional Program
- Play and Learn Program
- Mental Health Case Management
Also offers utility bill assistance. The amount owed must be less than $1000.
Free child care is available during all classes. Schedule varies depending on the semester.
Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, Elbert, Gilpin, Jefferson counties
Call or visit the website; clients must fill out an intake form prior to participating in any services.
Individuals ages 16 and older (classes). Applicants for utility assistance must have a family member in Denver Public School (e.g., child, niece/nephew, grandchild, etc.) and not exceed the overdue amount.
