Description of ServiceThis office assists Colorado Springs Utilities customers through COPE funding. Cope assistance is available once in 12 months. This office serves active duty military, veterans, and their families. This office is not zip code restricted.

Intake ProcedureCall to schedule an appointment.
Intake RequirementsWill need to bring valid ID for the adults in the home, DD214 for the veteran, proof of income, and a disconnect or late notice from the utility company, and a verification of the circumstances (the reason why you need help. i.e. medical expenses, car repairs, etc).
Additional Requirements**Nov 1- April 30 you MUST apply for LEAP and show proof of approval for LEAP before you can receive COPE assistance.**
