Description of Service
Offers basic adult educational courses to residents in Montrose County.
Call or go online to see the full list of courses offered and schedules for each class. Volunteer tutors may be available for those needing one-on-one help.
Information on free, online English lessons, questions about money and finances and career information can also be found on the agency's website
Classes and educational services include but are not limited to:
- Basic Reading, Writing and Math tutoring
- HSE (high school equivalency)/GED test preparation
- ESL (English as Second Language) classes ranging from beginner to advanced
- Basic computer skills
- Listening comprehension.
Must register in advance for ESL classes
For all other classes, individuals can walk-in during scheduled class time, no advanced enrollment necessary.
