Description of Service
The Dolphin House is a child advocacy center whose purpose is to provide child abuse victims with a safe, non-threatening place to tell what happened to them during necessary investigation.
Services are accessed through referrals from other agencies. If you are wanting to report suspected or known child abuse, call the Child Abuse Hotline at 844-CO-4-KIDS (844-264-5437).
Dolphin House may also provide:
- Medical and mental health services referrals
- Ongoing support for children and their supportive families
- Help obtaining family stability and healing
- Services for the adults also effected by their child's situation
Delta, Gunnison, Hinsdale, Montrose, Ouray and San Miguel counties
Referrals accepted from Child Protective Services, Law Enforcement, The District Attorney's office, Mental health professionals, Advocates, Medical Professionals
Must have referral from reporting agency
Services for children up to age 17 who have been victims or suspected victims of child abuse
