Description of Service
A weekly life skills class which assists young adults with disabilities to build or strengthen their independent living skills as they move toward becoming an adult.
Independent Living Skills Topics include:
-Learning about how to speak up for myself and other people Learning about my rights as a person
-Learning about the voting process and Learning about how the government works and the legislative process
Classes meet Tuesdays at the Grand Junction office 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Transportation for staff and consumers provided if needed to attend the class.
Chaffee, Delta, Gunnison, Hinsdale, Montrose, Ouray, and San Miguel Counties
