Description of Service
Offers a variety of programs for youth during the summer season including:
- Summer Works, ages 14-24. Connects youth to major employers and small businesses in areas such as health and wellness, restaurants, recreation and leisure.
- Career Road Trips, ages 14-24. Connects youth and businesses for a 'behind the scenes' perspective.
- Larimer County Conservation Corps, includes Agri Corps (ages 14-16), Lan Corps (ages 16-18), Sawyer Corps (ages 18-25), Rocky Mountain National Park Land Corps (ages 18-25). Applications for Sawyer and Rocky Mountain National Park Land Corps available for summer 2018 until April 2nd. Applications for Lan Corps available for summer 2018 until April 16th.
- Young Entrepreneur Tournament (ages 18 and under), which is a 5-part workshop that assists youth in identifying and preparing a business plan. Youth will present their plans to local business leaders and compete for a cash award.
Also provides youth workshops, one-on-one meetings with a Youth Career Specialist, youth-friendly employer list and more.
