Description of Service
Provides access to severe weather options when overnight temperatures are 32 degrees or colder and wet or 20 degrees or colder and dry.
For overnight shelter, participants must register at Family Tree or another partner organization for the season. A hot evening meal and quick breakfast with coffee are provided. If shelters are full, Family Tree will assess other options.

New clients need to walk in to register at Family Tree; clients who have previously registered should call the Shelter Hotline (hotline number will be given at registration).
Successful registration will allow individuals to access shelter the same day, if severe weather conditions are met.

Individuals and families who are homeless and have no violent offenses against persons in the last year.
