Description of Service
Offers a combined education and employment opportunity for youth ages 18-24 without a GED. Offers choice of two programs: YouthBuild Construction Corps program and YouthBuild Health and Wellness Corps. Offers the opportunity to earn 10-hour OSHA certification through YouthBuild Construction Corps program, attend classes at a local community college to earn a Certificate in Nurse Aide through YouthBuild Health and Wellness program, gain industry recognized credentials, and earn income while working towards a diploma. Youth will be eligible to apply for employment through the Mile High Youth Corps YouthBuild program.

Individuals also receive intensive career and post-secondary education placement assistance after finishing their term, as well as one year of intensive follow-up services.
