Visiting Angels is dedicated to helping the ill and disabled remain in their own homes by providing; personal aides, companion care, homemaker services, meal preparation, and errand/shopping assistance.
Visiting Angels is also a provider of services to persons with disabilities. The company has a licensed trainer who educates our caregivers training on effective strategies to interact with children and adolescents having developmental disabilities, emotional disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders.
Medicaid and general health insurance does not pay for homecare services. Only Long Term Care Insurance pays for homecare services.
Eagle, Garfield, Pitkin, and Summit Counties
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required. A doctor's orders are not necessary. Information required prior to initiating service include: health status, current list of medication, and in-person assessment.

The company works with local departments of Human Health as a Core Services Agency (CSA) – provider that contracts with the Department of Mental Health to provide respite services for grade school children with disabilities."
