Provides peer support services through trained Peer Specialists and Peer Counselors trained to help others who are struggling with life’s challenges. Peers relate to the client's personal struggles and stories and are in a unique position to help in recovery through their own lived experience.
Peer Specialists are North Range Behavioral Health clients who have experienced and battled behavioral health challenges; they help others with recovery and treatment goals as well as connect them with necessary resources.
Peer Counselors are 55 years or old and are trained to work with older adults and their families as they cope with the stresses of aging.
