Description of Service
Provides a mobile food pantry in communities where more food assistance is needed. There are no eligibility requirement or restrictions to receive assistance. Clients should bring their own boxes or bags to take food home in. Food is provided on a first come, first served basis.
This site also offers The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) to low income Colorado residents receiving some form of public assistance.
Adams, Arapahoe, Clear Creek, Delta, Denver, Douglas, Eagle, Elbert, Garfield, Gilpin, Grand, Jackson, Jefferson, Kit Carson, Lake, Lincoln, Logan, Mesa, Moffat, Montrose, Morgan, Park, Phillips, Pitkin, Rio Blanco, Routt, Sedgwick, Summit, Washington, Yuma counties
Walk-up for service. Food is distributed on a first come, first served basis.
TEFAP clients are encouraged to bring the following:
- Photo ID
- Proof of address
Food distribution generally lasts 2 hours.
For TEFAP individuals must be receiving public assistance or have a gross monthly income that does not exceed 185% of the Federal Poverty Level; no restrictions applied to access the mobile food pantry.
