General Information
Description of ServiceColorado Shines Quality Improvement Program provides funding, coaching, and training for licensed child care providers as they work toward receiving a professional license.

Child care providers begin the program by completing a self-evaluation rating in their classroom or home. Providers, along with their coach, use this baseline rating to develop a quality improvement plan. After the plan, which prepares the provider for their quality rating or accreditation, is implemented, the provider is assessed and scored/accredited.
